Pen-Florida District Council 2011 - Here We Go!!

Pen-Florida District Council 2011, we got to meet Beth and David Grant, lifetime missionaries to India, and their daughter Rebecca (soon to be Schultz). They are people we hold in high regard for their commitment to the Kingdom of God. Pioneers of one of India's most prolific churches, and founders of Project Rescue, a ministry directly involved with women and girls who have been trafficked as sex-slaves, they have devoted their lives to the mission that ALL people matter and ought to be reached for the glory of Jesus Christ.

We learned a lot from our time with them, and were so blessed by their interest and investment in us.

THE BELBIN FAMILY

So Grandma Kerr is in heaven today. At 102 she waited 21 years to be with her hubby again. For longer than that - looked forward to being with Jesus.

"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14

What a legacy; what an inspiration!

Above the memories of her "adventurous driving" or walking in on her "air-drying" at the cottage, I remember her love for God - genuine - how she would just step into a private sanctuary during worship. I remember the Word rolling off her lips - not just rehearsed - rooted. I remember sitting on the roof of her cottage eating ice cream cones - did she even know that we did that! :-))

May we live today with hearts intent on the goal: Acts 20:24.

Today is Tiffany's Birthday!!

Courageous and Adventurous!! She took Lily and Sylvie to Disney - gets in free on birthday and used birthday money to get the girls in. Wow! What a woman!!

Tonight we continue our series: KINGS - getting into the life and lessons from David - I'm excited and inspired about how God chooses and shapes and uses us!

HopeFest, including The Viewing are at hand - I can't express how much I love our Focused, Driven, Generous people! Y'all thrill me!!
